The Challenge: Introduce 14 university English majors and minors, pre-AI era, to the basics of graphic design and Adobe Creative Suite. Also, coach them through writing and designing a textbook. All in one semester.

The Results: This amazing group of creative thinkers and problem solvers nailed it, as expected. And because UTC’s fantastic Studio staff supported us and our grand endeavor, everyone learned how to do a little damage in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to become super-writers with design awareness and job-marketable tech skills that would make Ellen Lupton proud. Plus, they walked away with a really great book they developed from initial concept through design and print production. This was a fun one.
